Hey ppl! Koped this from a friend's blog who koped it from another friend's blog who koped it from the book called: "a simple life". Yeap. Its quite meaningful if u actually read it. haha!
The Dash
I read about a man who stood up to speak
At the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end
First was her date of birth
Then he mentioned the following date with tears
For what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years (1925-2005)
That dash represents all the time she spent alive on earth
And it matters not how much we own
The cars, the houses, and the cash
What really matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash
So think about it long and hard
Are there some things you'd like to change?
You never know how much time you have left
For life to be rearranged
So when your eulogy's being read and your actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the way you spent your dash?
For now, have fun spending your dash reading P700 and P680! =)
