HEY!!!
K, I shall go the unconventional route and do a brief reflection on the past 2 months. Don't be bored ok.
I really can't believe 2 months has just flown past. Like that. -attempts to snap finger-
I dunno if the rest of you all have OG hangover syndrome, or even still meet up with your OG.. I guess it was a fun way to spend Orientation. Hm, Orientation did not really leave such a great impact on me. I mean, it was a cool way of integrating back into the vicious schooling cycle, and of course anything besides homework rocks. The games and everything were really great, making new friends was fun, and everything flowed seamlessly, but after that, everything came to quite an abrupt end. Not sure if you all agree on this. It just seemed quite coerced.
And i remember missing Nanyang like crazy for the first few weeks. (don't you all miss your secschl?)And feeling very weird in this new environment.Oh and I used to be quite scared of guys before this. Ha! but someone told me that guys are also quite nervous around girls.
Then, we met each other as classmates. Besides Oon and Mingliang who knew each other for dunnohowmany years and quite a few of us. And we stumbled ( with uncertainty and stoning and sleeping during class lectures and outbursts of gay activity) to where we are today. Not quite sure how we got here, but we did. Somehow.
I hope you guys keep a healthy balance of your past and present in your life :) Maintain strong relationships with your closest friends from secschl/random places, while bonding as a class and faculty :) Apollo ftw! (for the uninitiated like Nicole, this means for the win. lol.)
I realise that I still don't really know a few people in class well. Ok lah, it's quite impossible to know everyone that well.. actually i think our class rocks in the sense that we have cliques, but people can cross over quite easily and just talk to one another. Yeah.. so hope that we all get the chance to know one another better and care for one another both as a class and individuals! :) sounds cliche right, but it's from the heart ok. haha.
So many words.. shall post pictures next time!
Cheers to the effervescence and vibrancy of 75 that will play possibly the hugest role in our JC memories!
